The VHF 4-K4 Revolutionized 
 

The new Lava™ CAM 4-K4 is a micro milling machine and targets the market of small dental labs. 3M worked closely with VHF to bring you a newly designed edition of a precise and highly trusted dental milling center. The CAM 4-K4 is now compatible with all Lava™ materials. The device is shipped with a Lava™  Frameholder and is capable of milling all sizes of Lava™ Zirconia, Wax and the  Lava™ Ultimate frames. 

 

 

 

   

New Micro-Machining Capabilities 
 

The Lava™ CAM 4-K4 has been reconstructed for micro-milling capabilities. The 4-axis machine is equipped with tool changer capabilities for rotating 6 tools simultaneously. This enables complete machining up to the completion of the milling cycle without manual intervention of the operator. 

 

Smart Milling for Every Dental Lab 

The Lava™ CAM 4-K4 dental milling machine features: 

  • The Impression K system has an automatic safety interlock at the front cover to protect the operator from the danger zone during the machining process. 
  • The compact table housing finds place everywhere, its footprint only amounts to
    400 x 385 mm
  • Fixing device: for round universal blanks with a diameter of 98 mm and a thickness of 10 to 25 mm; alternative type with Lava™ Frame Holder for manufacturing dental restorations with Lava™ materials
  • Top-quality Jäger high frequency spindle with 170 W nominal power under continuous load
