The Operator Friendly Giant 
 

The Lava™ CNC 500 is built for large milling centers. It is approximately 620 kg, a meter wide and 2 meters tall.
The fully automated 5-axis machine switches from the 3-axis to 5-axis on demand. It has the capacity to hold multiple materials including zirconia, glass ceramic and wax blocks while maintaining all the tools. 
The machine is noticeably quiet even with the integrated suction system which reduces dust and avoids contamination. 

 

    

A Worktool With A Brain 
 

The Lava™ CNC 500's tool changer holds up to 31 tools of up to 50 mm in length. The built-in sensor detects incorrect tool placement to eliminate mistakes early in the processing stage. 
The integrated dust collection system is designed to reduce contamination. It can be connected to your central dust abatement system at no extra cost and with no extra devices required. The machine is quiet and consumes low energy. 

 

The Lava™ CNC 500 Gets the Job Done 


The Lava™ CNC 500 dental milling machine can run for 76 hours without any staff monitoring the work. Other features include: 

  • 3-Axis speed and precision, including 5-axis milling when you need it 
  • A workpiece magazine, which allows you to load and unload a variety of frame types without interrupting the milling process - up to 21 frames with as many as 10 units per frame. 
  • Built-in tool changer sensor allows you to plan on long and automatic run times 
  • Operator friendly touch screen (NO KEYBPARD!)
  • Quiet, integrated suction system for dust collection
  • Non-stop operation, even with multiple materials - the CNC 500 will work with a wax block, and other materials without requiring and stopping for retooling.
