A World of Convenience
With Objet Studio you can detect colour information from your original 3D model, making colour assignment easier than ever. Simply export a model in VRML format and Objet Studio will choose the best match from the available Connex3 palettes. If careful consideration needs to go into the colour choices, the Connex3 custom palette can be added as an extension to CAD softwares.
A Multitude of Materials
The same triple-jetting technology that allows for three colour combinations is available on the Objet260 Connex3. Combining 2 or 3 materials in specific concentrations produces a wide range of digital materials with different translucency, rigidity, colour and even thermal resistance. Producing functionally graded prototypes is also a possibility.
By combinging three materials from the Rubber and Rigid Opaque groups prototypes with a range of shore A values can be produced. Add in the benefit of colour to create vivid fluorescents or dark deep hues, even translucent, to your multi-material prints.
For amazing durability, and an even wider range of Shore A values, combine durable, two-component Digital ABS with a Rubber material.
