Here is how it works 

Send us your 3D CAD (.stl) files and our engineers will properly orient the 3D Model for building your desired parts and add a support structure as needed. Once the build file is created, it is sent to the DMLS machine and the build begins. The DMLS machine uses a high-powered 200 watt Yb-fiber optic laser. DMLS technology fuses metal powder into a solid part by melting it using the laser beam inside the build chamber area. The parts are built layer-by-layer, which are typically 20 micrometers thick, no tooling is necessary. After the part is built, the re-coater blade is used to move new powder over the build platform. Creating a nicely finished product. The parts are detailed and created with high accuracy. Great surfacing is performed on the parts and are delivered to you with outstanding mechanical properties.
