Formlabs introduces the most affordable ceramic 3D printing ecosystem in the world!
Alumina 4N Resin is a high-performance technical ceramic with 98.6% relative density and 99.99% purity, with exceptional performance in extreme environments: thermally resistant (maintaining a flexural strength of 380 GPa, maximum working temperature of 1500°C), hard (Hardness HV10 of 1370), abrasion resistant, mechanically strong (Young’s modulus of 380 GPa), and chemically inert.
You can now ditch expensive tooling and molds for geometric freedom, reduced production costs, and a quicker end-to-end process for a faster development cycle overall.

Disclaimer
This product requires a complex, multi-day workflow and extra equipment, including kilns, to achieve a sintered alumina part. If it is your first time using a Formlabs 3D printer, the manufacturer strongly recommends using a general-purpose resin such as Clear before 3D printing with Alumina 4N.
Alumina 4N resin has unique printing and post-processing requirements compared to other Formlabs resins. At room temperature, Alumina 4N Resin has a shelf life of three months. Refrigeration at -10–4°C can add up to twelve months of additional shelf life. Formlabs recommends refrigerating Alumina 4N Resin.
