Nylon Materials
Create prototypes and functional models with excellent surface resolution and fine details with Nylons for your next project. Nylons offer great chemical resistance and low moisture absorption. We offer nylon as a white selective laser sintering material with a melting point of 181 ℃ for any additive manufacturing job. Nylons with additive materials are also available for 3D printing: we offer glass-filled nylon and aluminum-filled nylon for applications, such as concept modeling, functional prototyping, fit, form and function testing. We recommend nylon materials for developing housing and enclosure cases, consumer sporting goods, complex prototypes that require plastic parts and creating parts that require stiffness.
Nylons with additive materials such as glass and aluminum have been developed to offer higher heat resistance and excellent mechanical stiffness. Aluminum filled composite polyamide provides improved tensile strength and good wear resistance while still showing off detailed features of your prototypes. Nylons are also suitable for Superior Surface Finishing applications, since the finished products are easily molded and shaped. Add coatings of paint or fasten and glue nylons with ease.
