Draft V2 Resin

The Renowned Rapid Prototyping Resin

Draft resin is well-known for its capability of 3D printing parts and prototypes quickly and runnning through multiple design iterations (so-called "drafts") in a day. For faster 3D printing times, you can use 200-micron settings, or 100-micron for finer details models.

Draft Resin. Up to 4x Faster Prototyping

Draft Resin prints up to four times faster than Formlabs’ General Purpose Resins on Form 3 Series printers. This speed makes it perfect for creating initial prototypes and rapid iterations, accelerating product development and market readiness. It’s also well-suited for the dental industry, producing orthodontic models used in thermoforming clear aligners and retainers. The parts have a smooth grey finish and maintain high accuracy.

FORM WASH SETTINGS

DURATION

10 minutes + 10 minutes in IPA

NOTES

Wash Draft Resin parts in isopropyl alcohol (IPA), ensuring not to exceed the recommended washing time. If the IPA has a resin concentration of more than 5%, the parts may exhibit surface tackiness.

FORM CURE SETTINGS

DURATION

60 minutes

TEMPERATURE

70 ºC

Draft Resin offers two post-cure settings to enhance your 3D-printed parts. To eliminate surface tackiness, post-cure without heat for 5 minutes. For increased tensile strength, post-cure at 60 °C for 5 minutes.
